The system will securely record the conversation, instantly generate a detailed clinical string transcript, write a concise summary, extract actionable tasks, and then permanently delete the raw audio to maintain strict privacy compliance.
Clinical documentation isn't just about the 50-minute therapy session or the 15-minute GP consult. It's also about the five-minute care coordination call to a psychiatrist, the quick follow-up with a parent, or the complex case conference with an allied health team.
Historically, practitioners have had to frantically scribble handwritten notes while balancing the phone on their shoulder, trying to capture medication changes, referral details, and next steps.
Today, we're eliminating that friction with our new Manual Outbound Call Transcription pipeline.
How It Works
We've integrated a powerful new toggle directly into your active call dashboard. Here's how to use it:
- Dial out: Use the Grounded Scribe dashboard to make an outbound call to any Australian mobile or landline.
- Gain Consent & Record: Once connected, ask the recipient for consent to record the call for note-taking purposes. Then, simply click the new "Start Recording" button on your screen. The UI will instantly pulse red to indicate the call is actively being captured.
- Finish your call: Talk naturally. You don't need to write anything down.
- Instant AI processing: The moment you hang up, our background pipeline activates. It downloads the secure audio, pipelines it through medical-grade speech recognition to separate the speakers, and uses our top-tier AI models to write a concise professional summary.
- Actionable Tasks: Our Task Aggregation engine will extract the action items you discussed (like "send referral to Dr. Smith" or "schedule follow-up on Tuesday") and add them to your dashboard for review.
Zero-Retention Privacy Architecture
We understand that clinical phone calls contain highly sensitive information. That's why we've built this new feature on our strict Zero-Retention privacy architecture.
The moment your call ends and the transcript is successfully generated, the raw audio recording is permanently and irrevocably deleted from our secure communication providers.
Your transcripts and generated summaries are safely stored in your Grounded Scribe database to attach to your patient records, but the biometric voice data is purged instantly, ensuring you remain fully compliant with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
