Accessibility Statement

Last Reviewed: 4 July 2026

1. Our Commitment

Grounded Scribe is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We continually work to improve the accessibility and usability of our platform to provide an inclusive experience for everyone.

2. Standards

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines define how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive.

3. What We've Done

  • Minimum text size of 12px across the entire platform — no text below readable thresholds
  • Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
  • Keyboard navigation support throughout the application
  • Sufficient colour contrast ratios for text and interactive elements
  • ARIA labels and roles for interactive components
  • Responsive design that adapts to different screen sizes and zoom levels
  • Form labels and error messages for all input fields
  • Skip navigation links for screen reader users
  • Alt text for meaningful images
  • Automated accessibility checks built into our development pipeline for the school case-management platform — every screen, including empty and error states, is tested before release
  • Keyboard-first school platform: every case-management action is a standard link, button, or form control that works without a mouse

4. Known Limitations

While we strive for full WCAG 2.2 AA compliance, some areas may not yet be fully accessible:

  • Audio recording and real-time transcription features rely on audio input which may present challenges for some users
  • Some third-party embedded content may not fully meet accessibility standards
  • PDF documents generated by the platform are continuously being improved for screen reader compatibility

We are actively working to address these limitations.

5. Assistive Technology

Grounded Scribe is designed to work with common assistive technologies including screen readers, screen magnifiers, and voice recognition software.

6. Feedback

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Grounded Scribe. If you encounter any accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days.

7. Continuous Improvement

We regularly review our platform against WCAG 2.2 AA standards and incorporate accessibility considerations into our development process, including automated accessibility testing on every release of our school case-management platform. This statement was last reviewed on 4 July 2026.
