Learning to write professional notes is one of the hardest parts of training — whether you are a psychology student, a nursing student, or a pre-service teacher on placement. You are simultaneously developing professional skills, building rapport with clients, learning frameworks, and producing documentation that meets registration board standards.
How the programme works
- First year free. Verify your university or TAFE email and receive Grounded Scribe Plus for 12 months at no cost. No document or card is needed.
- First student-rate year at 50% off. If you are still studying after the first year, re-verify that you still control your tertiary email, then choose monthly Student Plus or Student Core. A payment method is required.
- One further student-rate year at 50% off. Before that first discounted year ends, send current enrolment proof for review if you need one further discounted year.
- Standard pricing after that. At the end of the final discounted year, your plan moves to standard monthly pricing. Your account and notes remain yours.
School and education staff are not trainee accounts. They may qualify for Educator Pricing: 20% off eligible monthly plans with annual re-verification.

You can use Grounded Scribe for placement work when your placement site permits recording and you obtain the appropriate consent:
- Placement session notes — record and transcribe client sessions (with appropriate consent), then generate structured notes in your profession's format
- Dictated notes — quickly capture case formulations, reflections or study notes
- Practice recordings — record role-play sessions during skills training and review the draft notes to learn documentation conventions
- Client health and personal information stored in Australia, with audio deleted once it is transcribed (a recording that can't upload stays on your own device so you can retry)
